Elise 1.6
The 1.6 litre engine produces an impressive 134 bhp (136 PS) at 6800 rpm and C02 emissions of 149 g/km. This results in a 0-60 mph in 6.0 seconds. A 6-speed gearbox is now standard, meaning that all that power is more accessible than ever.
Elise CR (light weight)
With the new Elise CR, Lotus have gone even further to deliver the most tactile Elise ever- without losing an ounce of style. It wasn't easy to find further areas for weight reduction in a car as light as the Elise 1.6, but with a lot of attention to detail and a passion for lightweight performance, the Elise CR is an amazing 24kg lighter than the standard Elise. This stripped back racer is an uncompromised sports machine that doesn't just deliver on the road. Adjustable Eibach anti roll bar and springs plus Bilstein sports dampers mean the Elise CR provides fingertip responsiveness on the racetrack too. The handling is also assisted with the latest Lotus Dynamic Performance Management (DPM) system, and selectable sports setting, giving the driver ultimate power and control.
Elise S 1.8 (Supercharged)
The Elise S sports a supercharged 1.8 litre engine that delivers 217 hp (220 PS) and 184 lbft (250 Nm) of torque. The ultimate evolution of the Elise the supercharged engine delivers instant acceleration with even more torque that's accessible from low in the rev range. Select Sport mode and the throttle response tightens and the DPM characteristics alter for more engagement.The approx 0-60 time is around 4.3 Seconds.
Elise SPS 1.8 (paddle shift)
Serial Precision Shift ‘SPS’ represents the latest gearbox option available for the Elise and another clever Lotus approach, increasing it’s pure driving experience through innovative use of lightweight technology. SPS utilises new, robotised automated manual transmission technology, allowing the driver to switch between manual and automatic driving modes via paddles fixed to the steering column giving an even more direct connection with the road. With no compromise to performance, it is a sporting alternative to the traditional manual shift as well as a stress-buster in the urban jungle. The fingertip-controlled paddles allow the driver to engage manually without the need to take hands from the wheel, allowing full concentration for the road ahead. Engage ‘Drive’ mode and let the automated control manage shifts for you, allowing stress free progress in the city, or effortless overtaking on the motorway. Finally there is the Sport button. Engage it and you’re in performance mode as the SPS takes on a new lease of life, shifting gears faster and at higher revs. Sport mode applies in automatic as well as paddle-shift mode.
